BELLA

Bella is a 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher who was rescued from Harbor Animal Shelter on the day she was scheduled for euthanasia.

Bella was surrendered by her previous owner after an alleged bite incident in which she reportedly redirected while being picked up. Based on that history, she was placed on the euthanasia list. Since coming into our care, however, Bella has shown us a completely different side of her personality.

She is an affectionate little lap dog who loves to cuddle, give kisses, and be close to her people. Bella is social with other small dogs, rides beautifully in the car, is incredibly smart, and has a happy, outgoing personality. She loves meeting new people and has quickly become a favorite among our staff and volunteers.

Because of her reported history, we are looking for an adopter who understands that dogs can behave differently in different environments and who is willing to continue setting Bella up for success. We believe she deserves to be judged by who she is today, not just by one incident from her past.
