Female

Tammy has been through more than we will probably ever fully know, but through it all, she has remained one of the sweetest, most gentle souls you could ever meet.
Recently, Tammy had surgery after the vet discovered a foreign object in her abdomen that needed to be removed. During surgery, the doctors also found a large mass attached to her uterine horn. Thankfully, the mass was removed during her spay surgery, and it is believed to have been a leiomyoma, which is typically a benign tumor. Tammy is now recovering and doing well, but she still needs time to heal, rest, and be monitored while her body recovers from everything she has been through.
She is currently on antibiotics and pain medication and is resting comfortably while we make sure she heals properly. Once she has recovered, she will also need a dental cleaning to help her feel her absolute best.
But what we want people to really know about Tammy is not just her medical story — it’s who she is.
Tammy has the most gentle, loving eyes.
She looks at you with so much trust and kindness, it’s impossible not to fall in love with her.
Her tail is always wagging.
She is calm, sweet, and just wants to be near people.
After everything she has been through, Tammy deserves a soft bed, a quiet home, and someone who will love her and keep her safe for the rest of her life. She has been through surgery, recovery, and so much change, and what she needs now more than anything is a forever home where she can finally relax and know she is safe.
If you are looking for a gentle, loving dog with a beautiful soul, Tammy might be your girl.
Please consider adopting Tammy or donating toward her medical care so we can continue to help dogs like her.
